儿童横纹肌肉瘤术前治疗的探讨附34例病例分析

 Abstract Objective: To explore the preoperative therapy of padiatric rhabdomyosarcoma and literature review. Method: Thirty-four children with rhabdomyosarcoma were treated from January 1988 to January 2000. Using the IRS staging system, GroupⅠ11 cases, Group Ⅱ 12 cases, Group Ⅲ 8 cases, and Group Ⅳ 3 cases.  Result: 34 cases were follow-up. According to the IRS stages, the survival rates of 1,2 and 5 years were calculated respectively. The overall survival of 2 years was 35.3%, of 5years was 14.7%. Conclusion: The survival rates of IRS group Ⅰ and Ⅱ were remarkable higher than IRS group Ⅲ and Ⅳ, but overall survival of pediatric rhabdomyosarcoma was lower. The management of this disease was to use a combination of surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, expecially, the preoperative therapy could increase the tumor resectability rate, and make patients to the earlier IRS stage and prolong the survival period of the pediatric rhabdomyosarcoma.天津市肿瘤医院儿童肿瘤科李璋琳
